24/7 Emergency Cleaning Services

Explain what happened. We will help you find the right cleaning response.

An unexpected cleaning incident can leave you unsure what to book, which areas need attention and who should arrange access. EC247 handles emergency cleaning enquiries across London for homes, rented properties and commercial premises. Start with the location and what has happened; you do not need to choose a specialist service before calling.

Choose the response that fits the incident

Different incidents need different cleaning scopes. Describe the source, the affected surfaces and whether the problem is still spreading. A flooded carpet, sewage overflow and contamination following a death should not be treated as interchangeable bookings.

SituationUseful first information
Sewage or human wasteThe source, affected rooms and whether the overflow is continuing.
Water DamageWhere the water came from, when it appeared and the materials affected.
Vomit ContaminationThe surface, affected area and any cleaning already attempted.
Cleaning following a deathThe contact person, access arrangement and what you feel comfortable sharing.

Define the cleaning job before work begins

Cleaning the affected property and repairing the cause are separate parts of an incident. If there is a plumbing fault, building defect or another active source, tell us what has already been done and who is dealing with it. Do not assume a clean-up quote includes plumbing, electrical work or rebuilding.

The assessment should establish which rooms, surfaces and items are included. If belongings, waste removal or photographs matter to you, raise these before agreeing the scope. This helps everyone understand what will be handed back and what may still require another contractor.

Arrange the visit in four steps

  1. Give the property address, callback number and a short account of the incident.
  2. Discuss attendance availability, access and the assessment needed.
  3. Review the fixed cleaning quote and the work it covers before cleaning begins.
  4. Discuss completion, agreed documentation and any outstanding work at handover.

For a shared building or business, identify the person who can approve costs as well as the person who can open the door. Those may be different people.

London coverage and specialist services

Give the full postcode and building entrance when requesting attendance anywhere in London. For the borough-specific booking details in this set, see emergency clean-up in Newham and emergency clean-up in Westminster. For a clearly identified incident, use the relevant sewage cleaning, flood cleaning, vomit clean-up or after-death cleaning page. Those pages explain the specialist scope in more detail.

Questions before you book

Can I book emergency clean-up today?

Call with the full postcode and incident details to check current attendance availability. Ask for an estimated arrival time for the actual address. A submitted form does not reserve a team or guarantee same-day attendance.

How is the price agreed?

We assess the job and provide a fixed quote before cleaning begins. Check the rooms, surfaces, items and documentation included, together with the total payable amount. Removal or additional work should be identified in the scope rather than assumed.

Do you charge for the call-out?

EC247 advertises free quotes and no call-out fee. The cleaning work itself is chargeable and is agreed before it begins. Ask about the full proposed work so you can distinguish attendance from the cleaning service being quoted.

Does emergency clean-up include repairing the source?

A cleaning booking does not automatically include repairs. Tell us whether a leak, overflow or other source is still active and which contractor is dealing with it. The assessment can then address the cleaning required without confusing it with the repair job.

Can a landlord or managing agent arrange the work?

Yes, enquiries can be made on behalf of a property owner or occupier. Give the keyholder, approving contact and invoice recipient. Confirm the access arrangement and who can agree the quote before arranging the visit.

What should I include in an enquiry?

Provide the address, callback number, type of incident, affected rooms and known access restrictions. Mention any photographs or written record you need. For an urgent request, call; use the form when you can wait for a reply.

Arrange the next step

Have the full address, a callback number and the main details of the work ready. Tell us who can provide access and who can agree the quote.
