Specialist Biohazard Remediation & Property Restoration
You may have just discovered something distressing, or you may be calling on behalf of someone else who has.
Either way, you do not need to have the right words for what has happened. You only need to call. Emergency Cleaning 247 provides specialist, discreet cleaning following a death – available 24 hours a day, every day, anywhere in London.
You Are Not the First Person to Feel Overwhelmed by This
Almost everyone who calls us is dealing with something they have never faced before.
There is no expected reaction, no “normal” way to feel, and absolutely no judgement from anyone on our team about the state of the property, how long it has been, or how you are coping with it right now.
What we can tell you, clearly and honestly: this is solvable. It is our job, every day, and we know exactly how to do it properly, quietly, and with genuine respect for what has happened.

What Happens From the Moment You Call
We listen first:
Whatever you tell us – however little or however much detail you have – is enough to get started. You will not be asked to describe anything more than you are comfortable with.
We explain what comes next, plainly:
No jargon, no rushed assumptions. If you have questions about what to do before we arrive, we will answer them as best we can.
We arrange access that works for you:
You are not required to be at the property. Many people choose not to be, and that is entirely normal. We can coordinate with a key holder, a family member, a solicitor, or a housing officer.
We attend discreetly:
Plain vehicles. Plain clothing. No conversation with neighbours. No record of the visit that identifies what it was for to anyone who didn’t already know.
We do the work properly:
Full biological decontamination, hospital-grade disinfection, and odour treatment carried out to IICRC S540 standard – the same protocol used across the industry for trauma and biohazard remediation.
We hand back a property, not a problem:
A written completion certificate, a clear invoice, and – if anything of value or sentiment was found during the work – a full inventory of items kept safely for you.
What We Are Specifically Trained to Handle
• Deaths that went undiscovered for an extended period
• Situations involving significant biological contamination
• Properties where odour has spread beyond the immediate room
• Cases requiring coordination with police, coroners, or housing providers
• Situations where family members cannot face entering the property themselves
A Note on Belongings
These homes or properties most often holds decades of someone’s life.
Photographs, letters, cash, jewellery – anything of apparent value or personal significance is never disposed of without explicit instruction. We speak with representative or relative of the deceased to with when it comes to what to be taken out and which is to be left.

Frequently Asked Questions
I don’t know what to say when I call – is that okay?
Completely. Just tell us what’s happened in your own words, however that comes out. We will guide the conversation from there.
Do I need to clean or remove anything before you arrive?
Please do not attempt to clean any contaminated area yourself – it can be a genuine health risk.
Simply secure the property if you can and leave the rest to us.
Can you come today?
In most cases, yes. We say so looking at your safety first then if there will be any police involvement. Within London we can get there in less or in 90minutes.
Will the neighbours know what’s happened?
Not from us. Our vehicles carry no signage, our team wears plain clothing, and we don’t discuss any job with anyone outside those directly involved.
Is there support available for how I’m feeling, not just the property?
We are not counsellors, but if you would find it helpful we can point you toward bereavement support organisations alongside handling the practical side.
